Today was once again a nursery day so don't expect too much!
Up at 7, quick wash, a cuppa and 10 mins in the garden. Then it was off to nursery and as it is Thursday, Daze couldn't wait to see her mate Isabelle. She apparently had a good time. In September, she is due to go from the under 2's nursery bit to the over 2's so they gently ease them in for an hour or so each week. Daze enjoyed herself although as the other children are bigger, she had had enough after an hour so she went back next door with Isabelle. I'm sure they egg each other on to do things!
The only exciting thing I did was panic buy and stock up on stamps. What a rock and roll lifestyleee I lead!
Then it was back home for a kip while I sat in the garden. Then I woke her up at about 4ish and we went into the garden to play. Daze did some bouncing on the trampoline again then she had a sit down in the tent as it was too sunny.
Indoors then, and Daze decided to try on my Birkenstocks which she now calls "snow shoes"
Then it was a whole bowl of fruit for tea accompanied by a teacake and strawberry jelly. We then did Daisy's favourite impression of how much she hates cabbage. If you imagine the walking dead with a hatred of cabbage, you get Zombie Cabbage:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5soXRP9l-E
This went on for a while! Then it was a long bath and then bed. The small creature is fast asleep now and snoring her head off.
Tomorrow we will head to the beach with Charlotte and Harry for a plahy and no doubt Daze will insist on a teacake from the Penguin Cafe. I'll keep you all informed, probably not until Sunday as Anna is home tomorrow and I'm going to the pub!! Love to you all, us xx

Wednesday
Well it seems to becoming a trend because Crazy Daisy, decided to get up quite a lot in the night which explains why I have just put her to bed and she is already sparked! Little monkey.
Anyway, breakfast and a little jump on the trampoline before heading to Gym tots where Daze had a really good time with Isabelle and Charlotte. Then it was lunch at Sainsburys before Daze decided she wanted to go home and go to bed, so I duly obliged!
After her kip, it was in the garden but Daze doesn't really like the sunshine and it was quite bright so I let her watch some Peppa Pig in her tent on the iPad:
While she was busy, I tidied out the shed and noticed that there was a Green Woodpecker, a female, on the tree just outside the garden so I tried to take a photo of it:
I think she must have some chicks on the go somewhere as she was carrying loads of food around, nice to see :0)
Then Daisy decided to help me clean the garden which wasn't a massive success:
So then we had some tea which comprised of sausages, sweetcorn, broccoli, spaghetti hoops and a couple of potato wedges which Daze seemed to like so a bonus! It was then we spotted a small bug wandering around on the floor so I put it on one of her grow pots to have a look at (not the best vid quality as I later discovered the lens was dirty):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da6rPsMiD40&feature=youtu.be
After this small nature lesson, we had a cuddle on the couch with some books, a wash and then Daze decided she wanted to go back to bed again, she must be hanging, bless her.
Nursery tomorrow so I'll report back then. Love from all of us xx

Tuesday
So crazy Daze seems to be back on her normal good form, thankfully. I think she is suffering from clock change jetlag as she is upstairs in bed happily singing away to herself.
I've taught her to sing Manamana by the Muppets and she is trying her best to sing it now!
Today we had a slow start. Had a nice cuddle in bed with some books then played after a leisurely breakfast. Then we had the delights of Asda where we bought some herbs for Daisy to pot:
Will pot them tomorrow at some point. We also bought some chinese lantern solar lights which are currently charging up in the garden so may be able to take a photo later on.
After a smoothie and a tea cake for lunch, it was bed for Daisy for a couple of hours and then she spent 2 hours on the trampoline with Ellie from next door. Then it was noodles, chicken, rice, peas and teriyaki sauce for tea which Daisy called "Wagamama's!"
Then some books upstairs and bed. I think she has finally gone to sleep now.....
I'm going to pop out in the garden with the telescope to have a scan at the moon as it has done its rounds circling the globe and is now back up in the SW sky. Might be able to get a look at Mars as well as it is high enough in the sky.
Gym tots tomorrow and then probably lunch with her mates so will keep you updated. Hope you are all good, love us xx

Freitag, Samstag, Sonntag und heute
Well, I really can't be bothered as I'm quite tired stonight so here is your run down starting from Friday:
Staunton Country Park, fed the Llamas, pigs, chickens, deer, had coffee came home. Auntie Karen came to stay so we had a catch up and then an early night!
Saturday, went to Portsmouth looking for clothes for Daze and Karen went holiday shopping. Bit of a disaster as Daze decided that she would take tantrums into overdrive for some reason so I'll just write Saturday off if ok with all of you! But, it was nice to hang out with Karen :0
Sunday, can't really remember what we did as we were both hanging from Saturday from tantrum-fest. I think we had a coffee, some lunch and I bought Daze a trampoline and set it up. Another hit and miss day as far as behaving so I think the pair of us were glad to see the back of each other when we went to bed.
Monday, Daze went to nursery and is on better form today. She apparently emptied the sandpit on herself, painted the walls of the nursery but generally enjoyed herself. Then she had a kip and we played on the trampoline!

Very, very, tired Thursday
Daisy decided just after half past midnight that she wanted to get up so she repeatedly told me, or rather shouted this to me, through the monitor. Needless to say I'm not massively happy or awake as this went on through most of the night. I have no idea why, but it is doing my head in!
So when it came to getting her out of bed this morning for nursery, she wasn't massively impressed as she was very tired and kicked off. Obviously I really didn't care how tired she was as it is her own fault and I'm sure she will realise this one day!
So after a slow start, Daze went to nursery where she was apparently on good form until about half past eleven when she started to become clumsy and bumping into things which she does when she is tired. She is absolutely over tired and currently shouting and singing through her monitor (2pm) and shows no sign of having a kip. I'll give it another half hour then get her up.
So Daze eventually went to sleep at half 2 and I callously woke her up at 4 so she can get a good kip tonight. Needless to say, she has been a mare since she got up and is currently having her evening meal as I type after I managed to calm her down from a huge meltdown.
During the calm of the storm however, we have managed to lay Daisy's new patio:
As you can see, we have veered away from the traditional patio and gone for the colourful easy to move option! Daisy as you can see, was uninterested and was trying to feed a gingerbread man to an ant who was also uninterested.
Also, Daze is now sporting her new summer garden/beach shoes, Peppa Pig crocs:
As it has been quite an eventful day of no sleep, my patience, unusually for me, is wearing thin, so I'll post a couple more photo's from the last couple of days then that is your lot I'm afraid!

Right that is it for this evening. Here's hoping for a good nights kip tonight! Love us xx
Workout Wednesday
Wednesday started with a shouting match between Daisy and myself through the monitor about whether it was time to get up, Daze won in the end so we had a cuddle and watched an episode of Family Guy in bed which she enjoyed but thankfully, didn't understand!
So Daze then decided she wanted some breakfast while I was tidying the garden up a wee bit:
Luckily most of the cornflakes stayed in the box, most of them! Then after a play, we went off to Gym Tots to meet Isabelle and Charlotte for a bounce around the assault course. Daisy learnt to do a backward roll and is becoming very good at balancing with her arms out. After that, it was off to Sainsburys for lunch.
After a long lunch, it was home to bed and Daze went straight to sleep as she was hanging after all that running around and her lunch.
As soon as she got up, we went into the garden to assemble her greenhouse all ready for planting when the weather becomes better:

So she now has one in the garden and her wee Ikea cactus house in the kitchen:
After gardening, Daze decided to do some belly flopping in her ball pool which shows the weather must be getting better as we now have it back out in the garden. (photo's to follow......)
Then it was tea time so we had our favourite, spag bol. After tea, it was time for a spot of throwing and catching practice which Daisy is getting really good at now:
The usual routine then of books, playing and a battle of wills to get her to tidy up, I of course won! Then it was straight to bed as Daisy is really tired. I think she must be going through a growing spurt as she seems to have suddenly become slightly taller!
Anyway, don't expect too much tomorrow as it is nursery day, but will come up with something or other.
Be good, catch up soon, us xx

Tired Tuesday
Our day today started at about 3:30 AM as Daisy decided it was time to get up. She has obviously been fiddling with her Gro-clock (a clock that changes to the sun from the moon when it is time to get up) as the sunshine face came on at half three instead of quarter past seven so she thought it was time to get up, it wasn't.....
After a one way conversation, she then decided to monkey about so I just turned the monitor off and she eventually went back to sleep about 5 ish but then woke up again at 6 so needless to say, we are both pretty hanging today :0(
Anyway, we then went into Fareham to meet Isabelle and Nic for a spot of shopping and some lunch and we bumped into this lady:
It turns out Princess Anne was opening a playpark for the Queens Jubilee or rather re-open a playpark that had been refurbished for the Queens Jubilee. Daisy didn't seem massively impressed although she did like the band:
After the fun and frolics of the parade (and bad marching by the Navy..........) we popped into Costa for the usual Tuesday Daisy/Isabelle lunch where the pair of them egged each other on and generally caused mischief:
During lunch, we had a phone call from Mama telling us she had just received her new pressie from us:
So after lunch, straight home as Daze was becoming feral. She went straight to sleep, hardly surprising given the early start!
Then when she woke up, we did our usual and went down the beach for a good walk to tire each other out a bit more. Then it was teatime followed by a nice long bath. A couple of books in bed before Daisy asked to go to sleep. She is now snoring away quite happily.
Gym Tots tomorrow with her buddies so lets hope it is better than last weeks disaster!
Thats it for today folks, hope you are all good. Catch up tomorrow. Love us xx

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Well as you can see by the title, been a bit slack with the blog because Mama came home, yay!
Anyway, Anna has now gone back to her Officer training in Dartmouth so here we go again with the blog...
Friday, went down the beach with Rachel, Harry, Abi and Charlotte. Daisy was on her scooter which caused ruptions for the other children resulting in Charlotte being taken home leaving Daisy and I having lunch with Harry and his mum Rachel:
Then we just sort of hung out for the rest of the afternoon until Mama came home, then it was crayon beards in the bath time:
So, a small catch up for you all and hopefully more to report tomrrow. I'm off to bed as I'm knackered! Love to you all, xx

Then it was bedtime for another day and time for Anna and I to catch up.
Saturday I went to collect her cotbed as she thinks nearly climbing out of her current cot is a good laugh! Just have to set it up at some point and hopefully get her in it. Anna and Daze hung out and Grandad came down for a couple of hours as a special surprise for Daisy which she loved.
We then went out to Wagamama's for tea and I don't think I've ever seen Daze eat so much! Loads of rice, noodles and she has now perfected the art of popping edamame beans much to her own delight.
She was really tired when we got home so straight to bed and Anna and I had a chinese and catch up again.
Sunday was Mothers Day so Daze gave Mama her card in bed, and we have bought her a SPA day so she can relax after all the hard work at Dartmouth ;0)
We then had brekkie and headed down the beach to meet the rest of our NCT buddies. We spent the morning throwing stones into the sea, playing on the swings and generally monkeying about. Daze then went to bed and I went for a wee lie down myself as I was pretty tired but Daze just kept monkeying so we both got up and played.
Then Anna had to go back to school so we said our goodbyes and its back to Papa and Daisy routine.
Today, it was nursery day so not a massive amount to report. Nursery, bed, tea, play and then bed. Just a wee video for you to watch, nothing exciting:
So, a small catch up for you all and hopefully more to report tomrrow. I'm off to bed as I'm knackered! Love to you all, xx

Thursday again
So today was once again nursery morning for Daisy and she was awake at 6 this morning shouting through the monitor to let me know it was and that she was going to give Isabelle a hug! So I turned the monitor off and got her up at 7 when she is supposed to get up :0)
She then quite happily toddled off to play for the morning and came home plastered in paint, sand and food, a typical nursery ending! After a couple of hours kip, we went into the garden for a play on her Peppa Pig bike:

You can tell her vocabulary and cheekiness are becoming better by the day as she politely told me:
"Pappy, bike too big, Pappy buy nother one pease?
Then it was tea time:

So thats really your lot for Thursday apart from me teaching Daisy how to dance to classic Def Leppard:
You know you're all jealous of our moves!! See you all soon x

Wednesday
So today is Gym Tots day where Daze does soft play assault courses with her mates Isabelle and Charlotte. Anyway, up, brekkie, garden for a wee while then off to Gym Tots.
It was all going swimmingly when Daze and Isabelle decided to have a big hug, as they do, but then they fell over and Daze really smacked her head against someones' knee and so a major meltdown ensued for 20 mins, bless her.
Anyway, once I'd calmed her down, it was off to do some obstacles but I think the whole head banging thing put her off kilter so she just kept bursting into tears when she didn't get her own way. It was a bit of a relief when it was over so we all went off to Sainsburys for lunch where it was a bit more of being back to normal.
Anyway, Daze wore her new t shirt and had a few comments by other parents on her funky new lettering:
She then had a kip as all the crying had worn her out. After she woke up, we decided to investigate here Peppa Pig Egg paint kit:

so we painted a couple of eggs:
but, we only ended up with the one intact!:
After our fine art class, it was tea time and then, self titled "Doctor Daisy" decided to hold an impromptu clinic for all the toys and she came to the conclusion that Iggle Piggle and Tombliboo "E" were both fine:
Then it was a cuddle with Papa and we watched In the Night Garden before Daze decided she wanted to go to bed, been a long day for her. She is now sparked.
Heading out into the garden now as this week is one of the best weeks to see Jupiter and Venus as they are really close together. If you head out into your garden and look West ish, you will see two bright lights low on the horizon, these are Jupiter and Venus. If you then follow the skies around to your left, you will see 3 stars together with hopefully a bright star above (Betelgeuse) and below slightly to the right (Rigel), this is Orion which I'm sure you all know already!
Right I'm offski. Nursery day tomorrow so probably a shorter blog unless I can come up with something special...... Catch up soon x
Tantrum Tuesday..
Another exciting day in the life of our family!
After some reading in bed, it was brekkie which comprised of teacakes and tea. Then it was a quick play in the garden and then into Fareham to look for some shoes.
After deciding that there was no point in buying any shoes for another month or so, Daisy decided to push her luck with me which resulted in me putting her in a corner of a shop door as a "naughty step". This went on in full view of the general public for 40 minutes. I wasn't bothered a jot and Daisy didn't seem to be either as she just kept crying, saying sorry, then pushing her luck again! It was all because I wouldn't let her have her own way and let her go on the merry go round. She will learn :0)
In the end, she got fed up with the whole episode and she was pretty tired so we went for lunch with Isabelle and Nic. Then a trip to Next lasted 2 minutes so we went straight home and straight to bed, she must have needed it.
So Daze then slept for an hour and a bit then we did the usual and went down the beach to play footie:

Then it was home for spag bol, a wee play and then bed as she was shattered. I too am pretty knackered as it does take it out of you trying to be patient and calm with the little monkey. Never mind, all good in the end.
Gym Tots tomorrow where Daze will premier her new t shirt! Pics to follow....
Have a good night folks, love us xx

Monday again
I did say it wasn't going to be massively exciting being an nursery day and all!
So nursery, bed and then up at about half 3.
I don't think Daze was massively impressed:
A, with my taking a photo as soon as she woke up
B, her Afro!
Daisy has recently stopped saying "Habe it!" and replaced this with "I like it pease" so when she kindly asked me if she could get a biscuit, I said of course. She politely said "Thank you Pappy" and toddled into the kitchen while I hung the washing out.
That was about if for Monday. After tea a bath for the pair of us followed by the usual books and then straight to bed. The only other exciting thing to report is Daisy now has her name on her Gym Tots t shirt, I'm sure she will thank me when she is older!

After:
Will see how she likes it on Wednesday! Anyway, thats Monday gone.
Will catch you tomorrow which is shoe shopping day!

Sunday
Well,
even though Daze was hanging yesterday when she went to bed, she decided it would be a good idea to have a loud sing song with herself from half 2 until half 4 this morning so it has been quite a long day.....
Quite a lot of sitting on our backsides this morning reading books then after breakfast, a wee visit to the delights of Asda for a small shop. Had all the bits and bobs within 5 mins but we spent an hour there because Daze was quite happy wandering about saying hello to everyone!
Then it was a teacake for lunch and I hoped she would go for a kip but she decided to throw everything out the cot and have a very loud sing song to herself. So got her up and went into the garden.
Whilst I cut the lawn, Daze emptied her sand table all over her plastic house, chased spiders all around the kayak, sat in the kayak and sang row your boat and then spent 20 minutes fascinated by a ladybird that landed on her hand:
Then when it flew away, she decided to have a wee chat with Holly, the dog next door:

Once the lawn was finished, we then busied ourselves filling our newly bought £1 bird feeder:
Then after garden shennanigans, it was Fajitas for tea then a couple more books then by half six, Daze was hanging again so straight to bed half way through her milk.
All in all, a good weekend and nice weather.
See you all tomorrow although I suspect, it may well be a boring post as it is nursery, sleep, tea then bed.
I'm sure I'll come up with something!

Sunny Saturday....
Today was zoo day! Brekkie, a wee run around the garden and then off to Marwell. Lovely weather so that meant it was heaving but still a good day out.
Unfortunately they were mending the Penguins house so we couldn't see them but we managed to see the Cheetah, Giraffe's, Leopard, Zebras, Monkey's, the Tiger, heaps of birds and of course the Meerkats:
Back home after that because Daisy hadn't had a kip and was pretty hanging. The delights of a quick tea consisting of Fish Fingers, beans and some rice, followed by jelly and a massive tantrum.
After a calm down, it was a few books in bed before being told that she wanted to get to bed. Fell asleep during her milk and is now snoring her wee head off. I'm heading back into the garden to hopefully have a wee look at Jupiter if the clouds clear.
Have a good weekend everyone, love us xx

Then over lunch, Daisy had a conference call with Mama:
Then we went and had a look at the Red Panda's:
Then it was comedy Giraffe headband time and a ride on the Tractor Train:

Friday frolics
Evening folks,
Friday started with a few books in bed and a long chilled brekkie. We then decided to explore the delights of progressive jazz on the keyboard and Daisy's take on dancing:

We then went to Monkey Business with Charlotte and Abi and let the gals go mad for a couple of hours.
After the usual afternoon nap, it was again down the beachy:
Usual routine after the beach, food then bed. Crazy Daze has been on good form the last few days and it is good fun :0) In my domestic goddess role, I have bought some iron on letters for Daisy's gym tots t shirt:
I'll get them on for next Wednesday and then I'm sure her mates will follow suit!
Off to the zoo tomorrow, so will update then. Have a grand weekend ;0)

Thursday....
An average day which consisted of the following:
Get up
Daisy - Nursery where she played in the sand, painted a picture and spent the morning hugging Isabelle
Me - Housework
Pick Daisy up
Daisy - sleep until half 4
Me - tried to figure out my camera attachments for the telescope
Daisy gets up
Have tea
Read books
Have a bath
Read books in bed
Daisy - go to bed
Me - can't see the moon because of the clouds but saw Jupiter and Venus, just. Couldn't take any fots because it is a wee bit more complicated than I thought!
Anyway, that was Thursday, a wee bit dull but then you can't live the rock and roll life style every day!
I always want to post a photo so here is my telescope:
It is a Skywatcher Synscan 127 Maksutov Cassegrain AZ GOTO. It is remote controlled and once you know 4 or 5 of the brighter stars in the sky, it is easy to set up. Only problem is that there has been a fair whack of clouds lately so a bit hit and miss.
Hoping to get some good photos soon so stay tuned! Love from us xx

Wednesday...
Wednesday started with a wee cuddle in bed reading My Dad and Stick Man followed by an average breakfast of tea, toast and rice krispies.
Then at 10, it was off to Gym Tots which is basically a scaled down soft assault course. Daisy learnt to do a forward roll, is learning to queue with the other children and is now very good at balancing and hanging on the monkey bars. I bought her a wee pressie:
Just have to get some iron on letters to totally embarrass her for next week!
We then had lunch with Abi and Charlotte after dodging horrendous weather in Sainsburys carpark.
Daze was hanging when we got home so I put her to bed but she decided she would rather continue the jumping learnt from Gym Tots so got her up and went down the beach. This didn't last too long as she was blown over a couple of times as it was really windy so Daze decided enough was enough!

Then it was home, spag bol, a wee bit of reading then straight to bed at 6:45 as Daze was hanging.
I'm going back into the garden in a mo with the telescope to try and get some views of Jupiter, Venus and Mars, or sack it, have a brew and watch the footie.....
Catch you all tomorrow :0)

Monday again!
Well, Anna managed to come back from Dartmouth this weekend which was nice for us all so we had some family time together.
Saturday the gals went down stairs together while I had a bit of a lie in getting over a chest infection. Then a spot of shopping down the Gosport market then after a wee kip, down the beach so Daze and Mama could throw some stones into the sea:
We then went down to the Pirates playpark where we bumped into Daisy's "matching spotty gilet wearing buddy Charlotte", so they spent some time monkeying about:
Then on Sunday, Daze and Mama went to Monkey Buziness for some girls time together while I sat on my backside and watched car crash tv for 2 hours, it was great!! We then went to the Osbourne View pub for lunch and had a great view of the sea from our table. After the usual afternoon kip, we all chilled out together for an hour or so before Anna headed back to Dartmouth, booo!
Usual Monday today, nursery in the morning where Daisy played in the over 2's area in prep for going there from September, loads of playing in the sand and I assume painting as most of her clothes and hair had wee remnants of blue! She then had her afternoon nap followed by eggy soldiers and a wee bit of practice of her Meerkat face:

Now she is kipping and I've been out in the garden with the telescope looking at the Moon, Jupiter and Venus. Bit gutted that I haven't managed to figure out how to take photo's yet but I'm getting on it.
Anyway, hope you are all good, catch you tomorrow :0)
